Exactly. It was a census, not fleeing persecution. Refugees ... sure. Not terrorists (which .. yeah, they really are) and only after we have taken care of our own. So many vets living on the streets, sleeping in the cold. They put refugees up in a castle in Europe ... they said they were "bored" and "the wifi was terrible". You just can't make that stuff up.

The story goes that they were travelling to be included in the census, not fleeing perecution. Which was impossible, as there was never a law in that region that said you had to be in your birth place to be counted in the census, but that's beside the point.

Joseph & the Virgin Mary were JEWS, not Muslims, they were PEACEFUL, & they followed all laws perfectly.

They looked for an inn in their OWN country, & when they were turned away, they didn’t start an international protest, just went to the nearest other shelter, a CAVE.

The fleeing of persecution was the Flight into Egypt, another MIDDLE-EASTERN country. And the countries of ‘refugees’ may be suffering under wars, but that doesn’t mean those people are being persecuted. They’re not being hunted down. By your logic they should be going to Egypt. We’re not keeping them from Egypt!

Syrian men should be fighting for their country, not fleeing it.
For women and children, I think NATO should move into Syria and set up safe zones for them.
