Palm oil is illegally obtained through cutting down and burning many rainforests for farmland. Once the palm oil is collected, the soil becomes uninhabitable for many years, meaning that more and more forest is cjopped down or even burnt down. As a result, orang-utans will be completely EXTINCT in a mere 2 years or so. Products often containing palm oil in is chocolate, crisps, soaps and many other things.
The acidic rain is carbonic acid, caused by greenhouse gases; the shortage of food is down to animals at the bottom of the food chain not able to cope with the fising temperatufes, which thenhas a knock on affect; and the weathervis due to the heat changing the way the winds and seasons and seas work. THIS IS SERIOUS.

Vegetable oil is the same thing, so not that. Good alternatives are sunflower oil, olive oil, coconut oil and pretty much any other oil. Palm oil is sometimes disguised as other things, though, such as sodium loreth sulphate and pretty much anything with the word palm in. Thank you for trying to help.

I don't think vegetable oil is the same thing. If you look at the ingredients of anything with vegetable oil (peanut butter), It will say vegetable oil followed by a list of oils in parethasis that could be in it. "Fully hydrodenated vegetable oils (Rapeseed, Cottonseed, Soybean oil)"

I think that some are and some aren't. If it doesn't specify it's best just avoiding it.
