What's funny is just how perfectly that facial expression goes with that outfit (at least to me). When I first saw it I just thought it was just another ewok face. :)

I couldn't quite get the wording right on that tie fighter one. I wanted to do it like even an ewok who has no real knowledge of technology could spot that something was wrong.

I'll try to keep coming up with these for the fun of it, but you know the critiques better than I do. I just think the idea of an ewok getting grumpy about Episode 7 is funny. :D

I think they're awesome. The wording was fine to me. Funny part is the ewoks use gliders in the films. So they do have a perspective on aerodynamics, form a certain point of view. lol :)

Maybe I would have liked the wording better if it had been simpler, like... "TIE fighters in an atmosphere? / Uh . . . no" or something like that.

I get held up sometimes too wondering if there's too much dialogue or too little. :)

OK, I'm liking this grumpy little ewok guy. Can you feed me some other ideas please? Like for example, what are the top 2 or 3 things Disney is copying from the OT (or trying to recreate the feel of it)?

The ewok can say them up the top and then in the bottom say something like, "Uhhhhh, Disney, haven't we seen this before?" or similar.

The aesthetic for Jakku is a clone/rip off of Tatooine. BB-8 is a "cuter" version(but obviously a flawed design) of R2. The flat winged TIE/LN's are only used for nostalgia vision. :)

But yeah, the BB-8 one is a great idea! I can see that Grumpy Ewok would *hate* BB-8.

Yeah, I think in that one it seems natural to have more dialogue, since there are a lot of them, and you can imagine them talking like that.

I could use the scene when Leia is handing him the rations and he takes a bite and says "goonda", but instead Grumpy Ewok says badda. lol I've seen the Ewok movies recently, and the Ewoks say something that sounds like "lardo" as an obscenity. I wanted to look up some lore stuff on their language to make one or two of them for the SW lore fans. :)

Yeah that's the scene I was thinking, but I can't remember the dialogue. He gets scared of her helmet, or something? But yeah, seeing Grumpy Ewok interact with Leia in some way, or have an opinion about her food, would be pretty funny I think.
