I don't know. Just type the downvote once maybe and then don't check? I had that problem before too with voting. It would show on the "close up" screen, but it wouldn't show on the screen once you clicked back out to the stream. I don't know what it was.

I noticed that when I up or down vote something, it works better when the memes are on a page and you can't see the comments, I don't know why, but that's how it is with me? Maybe computer???
