Evolution has nothing to do with religion. Denying evolution is more like believing the earth is still flat when both can be observed with your very own eyes.

We cannot directly observe sub-atomic particles. Does that mean they don't exist?

I assume you adhere to microevolution because that has had multiple experiments showing it to be true.
Now macroevolution is harder to prove but that does not make it unscientific. It has been formulated through the examination of evidence and has been able to predict evidence that was found later, suggesting its validity.

With all the evidence it is the only possibility of what could have happened. Just because you base your definition of scientific on a 1930s philosophy (which more recent views have greatly expanded because it eliminated obviously scientific work like evolution) does not change whether evolution is true. Also between 98-99.9% of scientists believe in evolution. I know who I'm going to put my trust in.

People do not understand that in science the word “Theory” is not the same as in everyday language. Scientific Theory is the highest rank of reliability, it is not conjecture or hypothesis.

You are right. They are not open to correction. Unfortunately you misunderstand them. Hope you have a great weekend too.
Even if you wanted to make that argument, what I intended to convey is that we aren't descended from an organism that is presently on this planet and living.
This is entirely theory and probably wrong, but there were two strains of the same monkeys, one monkey was born very slightly less hairy and had a more straight back, and so on, until it was homo sapiens, and the other monkeys stayed as they were.
