Oh, I gotcha. Well that's not an excuse to go kill millions of people. PTSD doesn't make you do evil stuff, it's just a stress disorder. He believed that what he was doing was right, but that doesn't mean it was. If he were a Christian, he would have known what he was doing was blatantly against God's law.

This is what I don't like about some people. They think certain (usually religious) groups have some sort of monopoly on moral supremacy. This is not the case. Horrible things have been done in the name of Christianity, and pretending that the people who did them are "not Christian" is just delusional.

But there's a difference. Yes, horrible things have been done in the "name" of Christianity, but that doesn't mean they were ordained by God. Even if Hitler did say he was doing what he did in the name of Christ, that didn't make him a Christian. In the bible, the Israelites walked around and wiped out entire races in the name of God, because He told them to. I know it sounds hypocritical, but that's just the way it is.

Also, I am in no way saying that you can't be a Christian if you sin. We all sin. The only difference is, if you are a Christian, and you ask for God's forgiveness, and you are sincere, he will forgive you.

Finally, I am also not saying that Christians are the only ones who can do good things, but at the end of the day, your salvation isn't measure by works.

Exactly. So what I'm saying is you can't be a Christian AND go kill millions of people. Now that's not to say that people can't repent from even the most evil deeds and then become Christians, but he never repented. He committed suicide when He realized that he had lost the war because the Allies raided Germany.
