I wonder if people realise we're just normal guys. The fact that we're on the leaderboard just means probably we spend more time on imgflip than they do, plus dumb luck and some timing. What we're doing right now is popular, but in a few months probably it will be someone else. But sometimes people really seem to take it personally. It seems a bit surreal to me.

I just had someone reply to one of my comment memes with "I hate you so much, but I smiled at this one"...I was just like "Whoooaaa"...LOL

I wonder why they said that.

I try not to worry about points all that much, but they are fun and can also be a good way to test yourself to beat your personal best, etc.

Admittedly, there's randomness in it, since you can't really control when people will vote for your memes/comments (apart from just making them the best you can).
