That's what I do, I've used a downvote twice since I've been here, which is Aug. 26. Oh think it's too easy to abuse. Wait till Facebook gets one, people will get butthurt on a Galactic Scale! XD

Oh god, once they put in that feature, I'll just grab some popcorn. And people would see who disliked, which makes it even better! Flame wars galore!

Yes, the Schmuckerberg came out I guess a month or so ago (right after he said they weren't gonna do it) and he caved to pressure. They said they're gonna figure out how it's going to work so poeple don't cry! A downvote button and political correctness don't mix, (if I dislike a Latino, am I racist?) I would like to see who downvoted though, because it would cause public hate, and the so called "downvote fairy" would be gone, mods would go through every meme to check if their is someone downvoting EVERYONE's memes, and ban them. also, you would downvote only if you really hated the meme, because it would show your username saying you downvoted... but I will say, there is alot of downvoting just for the sake of it, and there would be alot of flame wars. *bows* thank you.

Well, if they were downvoting EVERYONE, or everyone in one comment section/the front page/latests, or targeting almost all of one user's memes, particularly if the memes aren't controversial/trolling.

Thank you :) It's just so annoying to see what I think is a great meme get swamped with downvotes right after I post it. They don't even have a chance.

If I come across a newly featured meme that's got a downvote or two, Iupvote them so they don't get knocked back to "Submitted." I've only downvoted a meme twice, I either upvote or just pass it by. A dislike button or downvote button is something that just begs to be abused, I don't really care to use it, regardless of who it is. If I come across yours being beat up ill upvote it if it's in trouble. I just about always like your stuff to begin with, so it's no effort to help someone out who's getting the fairy treatment. They love me for some reason? :)

If you get Two to Three downvotes without a upvote, it will knock a "Featured" meme to "Submitted". I've noticed at the top of every hour new "Featured" memes come out on the "Latest" page. So I go around and look at the new ones and if someone is getting beat up and has no upvote, Ill upvote the so they don't get bumped! :)

I may have to do that, I have no reputation as evil! Lol

It would be nice if everyone would look at the new and the other memes at the top of every hour to make sure no one getting abused by downvotes, I'm not up 24/7,I do what I can, we can keep each other safe!! :)

Yeah, that would be nice. Everyone's just looking at the 'hot' page. I look at that and once I'm done I go look at the latest page. I only downvote if I really don't like the meme.

Im so with you on that! You get a few great ones, then you submit a few more great ones- but no one else thinks there great! I was telling Socrates that there are so many time of humors- some are sarcastic, witty, weird, scholarly and so on. I guess it just depends on who reads them? Idk CCat, idk!!!
