As a kid, oh, God I did, now as a 41 year old with 4 college age kids, I listen to my mother, even do things that I may disagree with, but it makes her happy. My father, he is a as whole, I disobey him any chance I have!! I'm not worried about what someone says what's God going to do, because no mortal can fathom God in the first place, regardless of what is write in a book, plus it's possible we're reading different books. I.do agree with you that you should always respect your elders and parents, they hold a lot of knowledge and experience. My kids think I don't know how it is to be their age and have their problems, forgetting that I was once their age. When I said earlier about "children" , they are payback for the things you've done wrong when you were a kid. You really have to have children to know this, I'm not sure if you do or not, nor will I hold it against you, I'm just here for a good and informative conversation. I'm a waiting your thoughts on this subject. :)
