So do I, I like them too!! It's funny how fickle people are sometimes, the "downvote fairy" meme I made was a observation rhetorical question kinda doodle meme. I was just screwing around and had nothing else to submit, so I did, and it got a lot of likes and 2,200+ views, WTF? You know what I'm saying? Lol

It's really hard to gauge what will be liked and what won't...To be honest my Overly Attached Girlfriend meme that's on the top spot right now...I honestly didn't think that one was gonna do well.,..it's almost like Socrates gave it his blessing and BOOM, it just took off...LOL

Yea, I hear ya, I've had a few with Socrates blessed it and done well. He has a very fine taste and a eye for what's going to work. I love his work, it's creative, well thought out and planned, and of course funny as hell! He definitely inspires me a lot!

One thing I have noticed about this place, is that the popular meme templates have a better chance at getting seen initially...I think. If you use one of your own pictures...your caption has to be REALLY good or it just has to be a really funny picture...just a theory mind you.

Yea, I think you have a really good observation there, I usually stick to the popular or common templates, I'm always looking through others also, sometimes they speak to me in a sense when I look at them, a thought goes through my head that a template should say that, or so and so on it, you know?

Well, for me it's easier to think of something funny and then try to find a meme that fits it, then to look at a meme and try to think of something funny...Like, my Philosoraptor meme that made front page...I heard that joke so long ago that phone sex actually cost about $3.99 minute...I had to adjust for inflation...LOL...My Overly Attached Girlfried one...I read that joke in a Reader's Digest a couple of months ago...that's what seems to be working for me...Now the Abraham Lincoln...I KNEW that if it made front page, people were gonna go crazy with the outrageous presidential quotes, and they did.,...LOL

Yea, each of us has "our way" of meme making, sometimes I hear a joke like you and find a template for it, sometimes I'm flipping through templates and one speaks to me, other times I'm totally screwing around and come up.with stuff. I must have 40-60 memes I have just sitting around, doing nothing, I let them stew for awhile to see if they're funny or good enough to submit.

I do that too...if I come back to an old meme and I still find it funny, then I'll submit it...I wish they had a better way of storing old memes so it would be easier to get to memes I meant to submit in my vast collection of comment memes

It's easy(the way I'm thinking) I'm going to start with meme and once you see it, you counter with a meme. It's the same thing you do with comments, think of it.exactly like that. A meme every 5 or so.minutes would be a good speed. Sound good?
