1 in 5 are actual refugees. . The rest are asylum seekers. I find suspicious that they are going to western cultured countries of which Islam is opposed to, rather than neighboring muslim countries. And this administration can't vet them.. and wants them all citizens in time to vote. These "refugees" will not assimilate into our culture.. they will try and shove their middle ages culture down ours.

Why can't the refugees find a "safe haven" in neighboring islamic countries? Isn't islam the "religion of peace?" Wouldn't they share similar cultured and religious values? Of course, I speak Arabic, but talking with most of them they don't care about you or me or out American culture, it's has to go. My dad worked for Exxon in the 80's I went over to USE for a few years. They do think the way you think they do.

Where d id you learn Arabic? I lived in Turkey for 3 yrs... when I listen to some comments, I can tell they are not very informed.

I learnd it in Pittsburgh, where I grew up. The holiest prayer in Judaism is in Arabic believe it or not. I was taught Hebrew, German, French , Italian, Aribic, and I picked up Spainish and Yiddish and Russian on the side. You know, I just realized possibly why I suck at grammar in English!! Thanks!! Seriously , my father made me do it when I was young, and you know if you don't use it, you loose it and I do my best to keep up but life is so busy! I didn't get to go to Turkey, but I think it's a place I'd like to.see, especially Istanbul!
