in what way has america been fine for this long? no idea why you're mentioning that but it's arguable america leads the world in national debt, trade deficit, crime, reported murders/ rape, guns, incarceration, defense spending, lawyers, obesity, healthcare cost, drug abuse, mental disorders, mortgage debt, student loan debt, plastic surgery, arms dealing, nuclear tests, and a lot of this is per capita, but please don't misunderstand me, i'm not saying that socialism can magically solve all those issues, but you can't just make ridiculous blanket statements either
