Thank you! In many ways, I can kind of sympathize because on some level we ALL want the world to end at times - it can be a horrible place - but we can't just go around making blind guesses. That's dumb. And dangerous.

People shouldn't try to scare other people with their speculations.

I think there should be a new rule: if you're going to predict the end of the world on the internet, you have to stake your life savings on it.

I don't know who would enforce this rule.

Good idea! If they honestly think it's the end of the world, they should have no problem putting their life savings in escrow to an independent body.
