It varies. Although something like 70% of americans consider themselves christians. How many of those do you think actually follow the bible? Not cheating on your spouse, not stealing, ect?

As long as you repent and truly mean it God will accept you back into Its arms. I'm just saying that they don't stop being Christians until their renouncing their faith vocally.

They still shouldn't be sinful, and you're right to judge them according to the Bible. But I'd say only about 10% of them are the ones that won't receive Salvation.

I personally believe that homosexuals, transgenders, non-believers/pagans and other "sinners" will still receive Salvation if they are righteous enough in life. Like Gandhi. I don't think he would be cast out. And other righteous examples of people will be brought into the fold. :l

You're cherry picking the Bible though. There are plenty of verses about repentance and Yehoshua made a new Covenant with the world. Watch: Matthew 6:14-15:For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15"But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. When Yehoshua died for us, some of what the Old Testament(like Leviticus) said is revised essentially.

Also later on in Matthew 6 there is a section on Worry. Matthew 6:25-34:Do Not Worry
25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28And why take ye thought for raiment? See what I mean? If you have God first, you're protected no matter how many times you slip, so long as it isn't murder/rape/molestation. Also, the "laws" in Leviticus are all to protect the Temple(body). That's why it lists the Kashrut dietary laws like not eating certain animals. They knew even then that certain foods/chemicals damage the body which is a temple to house the soul(spirit of God). The stuff about homosexuality was mainly for male homosexuality and they knew even then that that damages the body. Notice the Bible says very little about Lesbians but says a lot about homosexual men?

The disciples also drank wine, but tell people not to do so in excess, meaning moderation. So drugs and alcohol are fine so long as you're not always drunk or harming yourself or others.

The Bible is about history, honoring God, judgement, salvation, and forgiveness. Homosexuals can live their whole life committing that sin, but so long as they are righteous enough, they will obtain salvation.

To the Hebrews it was an abomination to eat bread with foreigners like the Egyptians. But Yehoshua would tell them to turn the other cheek. And that's my point. The religion evolved(not a fan of Darwin myself) from one state(OT) to the current(NT).

We are all sinners. We all sin. And all sin is equal to God. And the only unforgivable sin is not accepting God or denouncing Him. No one is without sin at any point in their life. Having God in your heart will start to clear out those sins we commit often like getting wasted or sexual desires, but that doesn't mean that you, a sinner, will never backslide or still have urges. A homosexual who lives out its life but is righteous in the eyes of God will be asking forgiveness the whole time. And God WILL forgive them.

No, you're cherry picking the bible. You're basically taking this-and-that from the bible to make a "don't worry, no matter what you do you'll be fine" thing from those verses. That's not the way it works, yes, homosexuals ect can be saved, but they have to repent, they can't just keep doing the same things and be fine.

I didn't say no matter what you do you'll be fine. I said that if you are a righteous enough person you will obtain salvation. That's a fact.

Man's version of "righteous" and God's version are two different things. No one is righteous enough. Thats why he sent Jesus, so we didn't have to.

Yehoshua is about forgiveness. You're misinterpreting His Word. Yehoshua IS God. So if you're righteous enough and believe in God and praise It, you'll receive Salvation. Stop preaching if you can't understand the Word. :l

Again, you're cherry picking verses. I could do the same in argument for the sinners that are repentant. You can repent all you want in life, but you will always sin. The thought alone is still sin. So if you have ever even contemplated homosexuality, you committed the sin. But God forgives you since you repent and more than likely you will never act out on it. But still, you're forgiven for that abomination of a sin. You guys are right to want people to be more righteous than they are, but condemning them before their life is up is wrong.

Something else though. I personally believe we're waiting for the seventh trumpet of Revelation. That's how far into the Apocalypse we are. We'll see armies around Jerusalem start to move in to attack it and that will be when the seventh trumpet sounds. And unfortunately there is going to be many people who will be extremely wicked, like those who call themselves satanists and enjoy sadism. Now those people I don't think will make it to Heaven on Earth, but if one were to stop now and repent they would.

Something else to note would be that the use of magic is listed as an abomination. To the Hebrews of the OT, technology like the computer would be deemed magic. Yet I doubt that you guys would worry about using it and losing salvation. You might also not ever mention your use of technology in your prayers of repentance. But I'm sure God knows your heart is in the right place.

Ether way, when the SHTF, you're going to see people's true allegiance. Just keep trying to get them to at least come to God. That's the most important. :l
