True, but I am referring to the people who dates someone knowing they will just break up with them. Or the ones who dates just to be dating. I am basically saying to only date people you would be willing to spend your life with. Because the way I see it there is no point in dating someone you're not willing to be committed to. It just avoids hurt feelings and messy situations.

Umm dude people don't know if they want to spend their life though tear that's why they date? Are you like 5 you can't just look at someone and go I want to spend my life with them so you date

I never said to instantly marry someone without getting to know them first. (That is the purpose of dating.) But surely you must be able to tell before the first date if this person asking you out is someone you like, right?
How many people do you know say they only dated this person because they asked them out. And they never had any feelings for them. They simply dated them because the other person asked them. I know a lot of people who has done that. Then they have to worry about hurting their feelings because they want to break up. Why? Because they dated someone they never really liked.
Or they date just for the heck of it. (You know the ones who brags on how many people they dated, like it's a sport.)
I know someone back in school who went person to person asking if they would date him. There was no feeling, he just wanted to see how many girls he could say fell for him. Only to break up with them for another one. It's senseless but this stuff happens.
