Hello, Nintendunce. Sega did have its ups against Nintendo: they went into Optical discs before Nintendo( Sega Mega CD: 1991 vs Gamecube: 2001) Also, Sega has more experience with Arcades, AND the Mega Drive/Genesis had better contrast +processing speed than the SFC.
