Well, what makes human dignity is not what someone does, but one someone is. So even if this little embryo is able to do nothing and is not even conscious, it's still a living human being. Not bird, not reptile : human.

I am personally against it. I would NeVeR abort a child. In most cases it's not people who would be responsible parents getting abortions. I feel terrible knowing that some innocent babies aren't given a chance. But being born into drugs, poverty, neglect, and abuse. I wouldn't wish that life on my worst enemy.

My point is, just tell me this: if someone can afford protection, whether it be birth control pills or condoms or both, they wouldn't have any medical problems such as an ectopic pregnancy, and it wasn't a rape case, what reason does someone have to abort a child?

If you want to have a baby, you should be prepared, responsible parents and, above all, willing to take care of the child. If all you want to do is have sex, then you can use protection. If there's a 99% chance of each form of control preventing pregnancy, I'm pretty sure there's no danger of unwanted offspring.

So why would you kill a child?
