Contemplated suicide nightly after a really bad week and no job and now in a happy relationship making 45k/year

I'd say yeah that's sad. We need to get that number up.

A lot of people are in poverty and make less than $20,000 a year. Our problem is inflated prices and our consumer attitude.

The real problem is the average worker salary hasn't gone up in decades, while high earners' have gone up immensely while record profits have been made.
