I feel so much better since I learned to lower my expectations.

Personally, I find that people are either very entertaining or simply delightful... unless they are trying to kill you. So MOST people are the above.

Mad TV did a skit called "Lowered Expectations" about a dating service. I find I'm happiest when I don't expect a lot from people.
