I agree with the point this is making, if I interpret it correctly. People are preaching blind acceptance of gay culture (even its toxic elements, which all cultures have some of), and yet they overlook manners--- which is important to any culture. So, it's kind of ironic. That's the idea, right?

So, teaching them that they should let people live their lives as they want to is less important than having them say some stupid words that are pointless to the conversation when somebody does something for you?

Teaching children complex ideas about sexual identity and behavior before teaching them the basics of respecting others through every day discourse is less important.

Its not any more complex than being straight.

Maybe not. I think it is. Consider though that most parents, probably, don't teach their kids about sex before they teach them how to say please and thank you.

But they do teach them about marrige and stuff, so whats wrong with them knwing about gay marrige too?

Because it's not normal. If I explain to a kid about where babies come from that's a normal conversation. If I explain why daddy left mommy to have sex with his old frat buddy, not so normal.

Gays represent 3.4 percent of the population of the U.S.. That means 96.6 percent of the population is heterosexual. Be gay if you want, but it is a deviation from the norm.

Yeah, its not normal to be gay, but it is normal to let people be gay.

uh,yeah teaching your kids to have respect for others especially adults is more important.
