Three times the number of whites get shot by police as blacks... That may only be half per capita, but if you take into account culpability for the crime rates per capita for blacks being substantially higher, it is more or less balanced out. I think it is a fallacy to look for a pattern in these occurrences and say they are typical. It's not as black-and-white as "blacks are all angels, police are all racist, whites are all ignorant, etc." Unarmed white kids have been shot by police, too. It's just not what the media wants to cover and spin.
