This is an inaccurate statement. Evolution is false, and there is no scientific data that supports it.

Also, the fact that you're insulting other people shows that you yourself know the unreasonableness of your own position. If you had an argument, you'd state it - you wouldn't need to insult others.

Um, apparently the entire fossil record plus stuff we're still observing today is "no scientific data". Dude, it's okay to be religious, but don't let religion cloud your mind.

The fossil record shows the exact opposite of what you'd expect if evolution were true. Most notably, the fact that if evolution were true, there should be countless transitional forms between species. Inter-species transitional fossils should be the overwhelming majority of fossils. But that's not what we observe. There are only a few disputable examples of transitional fossils.

Nobody comes to belief in evolution by the evidence of the fossils. They come to a belief in evolution based on their own circular assumptions.

Dude, you obviously are very intelligent, but you don't really understand. All life forms are transitional forms. Evolution is not a straight line, it's more like a tree... or, for a better metaphor, maybe a bush.

Eloquently put. But it's a meme not a debate post, so it's hardly the place to try to squeeze in large arguments for debates.

"Evolution is false, and there is no scientific data that supports it."

But thank you for your comment, it really helps proving my point.

It wouldn't take a large argument/debate. All it would take is one piece of scientific data that shows that evolution is true. But you don't have one. Nobody else does, either.

People don't believe evolution for scientific reasons. They believe in it due to social pressures, or because their commitment to an anti-theistic philosophy requires it.

The meme was intended to get attention through ridicule, unfortunately that also sets the mood wrong for actual productive discussion. My apologies for my blunt approach. I urge you to look into this on your own.

That's a fair point. Sorry for my wrong assumptions about what the element of ridicule in your meme indicated. Thanks for clearing that up. Upvote on the meme.

"People don't believe evolution for scientific reasons. They believe in it due to social pressures, or because their commitment to an anti-theistic philosophy requires it."

I think this is your personal opinion based on your subjective view of the world. I would be surprised (but also interested) if you have a reliable study to refer to on this.

"It wouldn't take a large argument/debate"

There is no point in denying that it would require a large debate to discuss Creationism and to prove evolution to someone who refuses to acknowledge the available evidence. Even if I present you with something you would not accept it, so how do you suggest to proceed without a large debate?

For evolution alone there is so much evidence that I only know the tip of the iceberg. There are multiple scientific areas that provide supporting evidence:
- Fossil record
- DNA comparison
- Species distribution
- Embryology
- Comparative anatomy
- Observation of evolution
- Nested hierarchies of traits

(I'm probably forgetting to mention some areas)

For starters, I have a lot of questions to even know where to begin discussing with a creationist...

What creationism variant do you believe in? The variant of Ken Ham, Kent Hovind, Ray Comfort or William Lane Craig? Or some other variant?
Do you believe in the established age of the Earth and the Universe?
I'm assuming you're a Christian, do you adhere to any particular denomination that puts extra twists on creationism?
Do you believe in the literate creation story of the bible, or do you think it's partially or fully metaphorical?

Why should I discuss anything? I don't really see an upside. All the evidence you need is freely available to you, just as it is to everyone. I don't believe any of the evidence supports evolution.

I believe the reason you think it does is because you're not evaluating the evidence correctly, and because you're not questioning your own starting assumptions. But that's not my problem.

"Why should I discuss anything?"
Well, you commented on my meme, not the other way around. But, there is no necessity to discuss further.
However, I'm not saying any of this to be spiteful, I think this is an important subject.

"All the evidence you need is freely available to you, just as it is to everyone."

"I believe the reason you think it does is because you're not evaluating the evidence correctly, and because you're not questioning your own starting assumptions"

These statements are saddening for me to hear.
First, because they apply to yourself much more than to me: I'm quite certain that what you call evidence does not match the definition of the word.
Secondly, because it's disheartening to me that some people willingly choose to live their lives ignoring actual evidence.

I think your evaluation of me is wrong. But I can live with you seeing me that way. See you on another meme.
