Actually, I lived in Haiti (where this picture was taken) and this kid has an infinitely better chance of being shot walking down the street where is than he ever would here. The worst neighborhoods in the US (an I've lived in Camden and been to DC and Baltimore) are much safer than the best neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince.
I appreciate this maxetuluc, this meme was created, alike most of them on this website, with little serious intention. It is not meant to be a statistically correct argument, only instead a casual jibe at a serious matter.
