Pretty sure you mean women make 77% of what men make. If they made 77% less that would mean they're only making 23 cents to every dollar a man makes. Either way you have to keep in mind that these are all averages and it doesn't equate to actual wages because maybe more women than men have lower paying, entry level jobs but statistics don't account for those things. I see more women in the workforce than men on a daily basis, so that larger base also accounts for a lower average.

In reality, we both have no idea what the situation is. It could be as you say, the father may be the only one working and the woman is just a piece of shit (I know a couple of those), maybe the dad is a deadbeat or simply dead and the mother is a lazy ass or it's possible that the father is not around and the mother is busy working. That said, this meme implies what my first comment said.

Nope this was kinda venting because i have a friend who has 2 kids and they are at daycare, she doesn't work yet she doesn't cook, clean or do the housework, she leaves it all up to her poor husband because she say's she is too busy. I have 4 kids and i manage it.

I'm 44 and an only parent. Not a single parent, an only parent, and a man. I amn expected to cook, clean, teach, guide, play, taxi and everything else. And every bit of it is expected of me. In the meantime I'm expected to look after my son's mother who suffers severe paranoid delusions and so is not allowed unsupervised access to her child, and cannot contribute to raising him either financially or emotionally.
