No, don't see the appeal to them. I think being scared is a bad thing, why would someone pay to be scared?

It's better to play a horror game than to pay to go to a jumpscare mansion, they have those in certain Halloween theme parks but that is just my opinion.

FNaF 3 is a lot like that...

Not really, you can avoid the jumps cares and it is a lot fun preventing animatronics from getting into your office.

It's near impossible to avoid jumpscares in FNAF on your first try....

At least it's better to get scared by a video game character than to be scared by someone dressed up to scare you. When you play fnaf, you only get like 1-3 jumpscares per average night. In a scare mansion, you get 20-30 jumpscares per average scare mansion.

That's way off, I've been in those scare mansions, it's like, 3-4. Also, no it's not better to be scared by a video game character. Also, no one is scared of freddy and his gang everyone is scared by the anticipation of being jump-scared....

That's what I mean, anticipation of getting jumpscared not an unavoidable jumpscare. When you get jumpscared in fnaf, you can get revenge by playing again and winning. I got 20-30 jumpscares when I went there just to count the jumpscares. In fnaf, you get the anticipation of getting jumpscared but it's avoidable. In a scare house, when someone scares you, you can't get revenge on them or you will get in trouble.

whoever jumpscares me, I just go to their computer and I change Google to Fake Google and film them getting scared and post it on Yuo've Been Framed and get £250. sweet revenge.

It's for the adrenaline. We like a thrill, the rush. I would buy a horror game or two, but I don't have the computer for it nor the money, so instead I learn everything there is to know from the wiki and then go to YouTube to laugh my face off at other people getting scared to death by playing it.

FNAF isn't scary..... the only thing "scary" about the game is the anticipation of being jumpscared, you try your best to dodge it.

I was talking about horror games in general, actually. As for FNAF, it's mostly just tension--the jumpscares are just startling to jumpy people like me. I personally find the backstory a heck of a lot scarier than the games themselves.
