Okay, well just because this is about religion, I'm going to give part of my viewpoint. If you don't want a religious discussion, either don't read on, or don't respond :P
I don't think that I will ever believe in God. Even if I ever get solid proof that he exists, I won't believe in him. Why? Basically because if I believe in him, that means I have faith in him. Faith is basically a strong trust in someone or something. I doubt I would ever trust God that strongly (assuming he exists). According to the Bible, He told people to kill others occasionally, and I don't want that, especially since one of His commandments is supposedly "Thou shall not kill." I don't usually trust in hypocrites that much. Also, He doesn't really seem like that nice of a guy. I mean, He (supposedly) flooded the Earth and only let two of each species survive. What if He decides to do it again? There are some other examples, but why list all of them? And another thing: He's kind of prejudiced. I mean, He was really nice to the Jewish in the Bible, but that's it. Sorry, but I believe in fairness and equality. He favors people from one country just because they have faith in him. In my opinion, you shouldn't be mean to someone just because they don't believe you should be followed.
So that' basically part of my viewpoint on religion, or at least Christian religion, as I know practically nothing about the others.
And if you people decide to downvote this, I don't care, as it is a way of sharing your opinion on what I said, just please don't put it all the way into the dark recesses of the low-rated comments, where the trolls and porn spammers hide :P
