(It's sort of both of our reasons... they're jealous that they have so many points, so they downvote or impersonate people to make it look like they're trolls or retarded. If someone did a troll account of me and made it a pun like yours--which, you gotta admit, it was pretty funny--I think I know what it would be :P)

I can't avoid my philosophical metaphors, but I'll try to answer..

To live among friends and family, to have a wife and children, to be loved... And what if everything is wrong, what if all of them are hidding the truth that you are seeking out ? Is it better to stay innocent among alleged close people, or to search for the Truth ?
