its appears 1/2 point for a upvote. i just upvoted two memes, refreshed the page and got one point.

yes since you dont have much points, but for me all i get if i upvote a meme is 1/36 a point (roughly) since as you gain points you get less from upvoting so it becomes useless.

No, I'm pretty sure that point was from somebody upvoting your meme or comment somewhere else. Now I've got to make an alt account where I only upvote things, but don't comment or make memes, just to be 100% sure.
