It is not evil. The number is merely a representation of something forewarned to christians as evil. The number itself has no power. And the evil it represents does not own the power it has, for the power was given to lucifer before his betrayal.

it comes from the bible mostly, "wisdom is needed to understand this. let the one who has understanding solve the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, his number is 666.
see? its not an evil power, its a puzzle. a puzzle that requires both knowledge of math and knowledge of history/symbology. the number only represents the evil which is a man. and this man can be found if we can just find out the number 666, 616, or the ???. most likely either 616 or 666 we must find out.
