WRONG. Putin is a vile communist bastard who has a well documented history of being in the foul KGB as a member. His father was a talmudic scholar+hardline communist. He admires Stalin in his heart, and is much more of a communist than Mikhail Gorbachev, the last premier of the USSR, ever was. There is some evidence that he and other KGB members tried to overthrow Gorbachev in order to both regain their dwindling power, and install someone they favored. His anti-gay propaganda law is MUCH more than just something meant to suppress open expression of homosexuality and bisexuality; it is a small dose of neo-Soviet anti-gay sentiment put into legislation, gradually stepping into a full-on reinstatement of Stalin's 1934 anti-gay sex law. He wishes to eventually create a NEW USSR! He helped to destroy the Russian Rodina(homeland) party back in late 2008/early 2009, as he saw it as a threat to his rule. There are even protesters who have been JAILED for publicly protesting Putin's presidency. He recently signed INTO LAW in Russia that makes it a CRIMINAL OFFENSE to question the Jewish "holocaust." He is not for the Russian people.
Putin is NOT to be trusted. I'd pick Boris Yelstin(now passed, sadly) over hom NY DAY!
