I noticed this has a lot of views, but no upvotes or comments. Guess not many folks around here want to touch this one, but I've lived something similar. If this was you, I feel you. May you find a better group of people to share your spirituality with, whatever that is.

I am one of the chosen few with a talent of getting tons of views but few if any comments... must be a conspiracy. Anyway, yes I was born-into and raised in cult owned and operated by a publishing company; The Watchtower Society.

Man...when I hear from some escapees of that, I feel kind of lucky my parents were crazy but in a smaller group. About the views vs. feedback thing, I think it's because when you've actually fought for your own mind and won, you're in a different world than most people. Most don't fight that fight, and of those who do and win, few are benevolent on the other side of it. Forgive my being too much in the feels, but it's good that you kept some heart in that struggle. Treasure that. :-)
