A superbowl is an american event where the two Football teams who made it get to compete

it's an annual american "football" championship (not to be confused with Universal football) between two proffesional teams. this event is followed by a halftime concert and is where commercials on tv are extremely expensive to broadcast (millions of dollars per minute). the commercials viewed are very noteworthy experiences to those watching the game through television.
