I'm not sure if I'd describe myself as a feminist, but I definitely believe in equal treatment. That's why I was hesitant to let my boyfriend pay on the first date. Next time, I will return the favor by paying. He doesn't want anything for Valentine's Day, so I told him he doesn't need to buy me anything either. However, I DO expect him to treat me kindly--which he does--but I'll do the same. Equal treatment right there. Not all people who are enthusiastic about women's rights are stupid.
