Here is South-East Queensland, Australia, we have a subtropical climate and those of us who pay attention to such things talk about our year being made up of three summers: a tropical summer which is wet and very hot, our 'winter' which is actually more like a European summer, and a dry windy Mediterranean summer. Helps to know these things when growing food or planning an outdoor party :)
