That fable was spread by The Da Vinci Code, but it's exceedingly unlikely since there's next to nothing in literature about the stigma of "Friday the 13th" being a particularly "bad day" before the 1900s.

Not at all! It made for a nice addition to his novel, but like much of the book, he took great poetic license with history.

When i hear the term Friday the 13th I honk Jason Voorheese
