Just to let you know, I liked the new series of Scooby Doo Crystal Cove mysteries as it told the background stories of the gang and a couple of other Hanna Babara characters like Blue Falcon and Dyno Mutt and the Ghost and cat...

Mine was the Teen Titans lol. Tom and Jerry, the Jetsons, the Flintstones and Scooby Doo were brilliant though

yeah, but this is Tom and Jerry we are missing. I know I can always go on to Boomerang, but tbh, cartoons aren't funny. Now, humor is butts and underwear and bad puns.

I literally read that as Tom. Yeesh. Sorry I had eye drops that day (bad eyes.) But i think he is either baly edited, or he has a tiny hanky.

anyone young enough for this website doesn't remember the flintstones, the original scooby doo, or most of these shows

Hannah Barbara loved to capitalize on his own ideas. Let's face it. Scooby Doo, Jabber Jaw, and the Dune Buggy one (what was its name again? Roomazoom zoom!) were all basically carbon copies of one another. So were Flintstones and Jetsons. Don't get me wrong, I loved those shows as a kid and I have fond memories, but people need to see how original today's cartoons are compared with yesteryear's. The shit that happens in the new shows is just off the wall nuts and very entertaining.

PS: The thing Scooby, JabberJaw, and Buggy had in common... they were all things that talked which should not be able to talk, and there was a freaking shaggy clone in every one of them.
Jabberjaw and Buggy had bands, too, which links them with Josey and the Pussy Cats. I blame that one for the fur fandom. That and Disney.

I've been watching cartoons from the late 70's. I've seen many styles, stories and characters come and go... Some have been over sweet eg - MLP, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and some slap stick humour. Buy the DVD's of your favourite cartoons and relive your memories!

Ignoring the fact that most of the characters here are from shows that have aged horribly...

Sorry, but what do you mean by 'aged horribly'? ( My brain hurts xD)

Most of the shows presented here (Yogi Bear, Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, etc) were good back in the day, but today they are crappy. They have about as well as milk past its expiration date. Animation has advanced significantly since the days these cartoons came out, and it is now obvious these old toons are badly written, have horrible animation, star characters that are boring, two-dimensional, and/or annoying, and utterly forgettable stories.

Johnny Bravo is the only cartoon here that is as enjoyable today as it was when it first came out.

I suppose you're right

Animation was very difficult in those days, so you gotta' have a little respect for that.
