When someone says "I don't mean to sound racist, but.."

We all know it's somehow impossible for a non-liberal to talk about a race-related issue without automatically being racist.

Yeah. I'm white, and I don't think the president is doing that great of a job "running" America. According to liberals, I am racist.

Yes, I agree the "Obama racism" thing is out of hand, even as a liberal myself.

And oddly enough, Obama is half-white, but people focus on his "black half".

Well, he's widely known as the "First African American President", and people tend to remember that, even if he's only half African American.

Yeah, you'll normally get that reaction from people looking to cause a stir. Those are the type people who believe there can be only one correct opinion.
