“Naturally set”? By whom—the Sun?
Before standardized time, every town had its own local solar time. In 1883, railroads introduced standardized time zones for convenience, and Congress later made them law. Even standard time is a human-made system, not some clock the Earth naturally set for us.
If you mean standard time aligns more closely with the Sun, that’s a legitimate argument. But calling it “natural” doesn’t make it the only scientifically correct choice, and claiming DST was built on lies and bad data requires actual evidence.
You can argue against daylight saving time without pretending the alternative was handed down by nature.
