Every problem France is experiencing is a result of leftist policies.

The amount of upvotes you're getting is seriously concerning, considering the blatant lie in your comment. The most current issues that are motivating these demonstrations and protests are budget cuts to public services, most prominently schools; cuts to public services are, definitionally, a right-wing policy; also the government of France that is carrying out these policies is a right-wing government.

A former Socialist, Macron founded the Renaissance Party in France. This is from Wikipedia regarding the party:

“Macron described the party in 2016 as being a progressive party of both the left and the right.[130] In 2017, observers and political commentators have described the party as being culturally liberal,[131][132] as well as socially liberal[133][134] and economically liberal in ideology.[135]”

The largest block in France’s National Assembly is the left-wing New Popular Front.

Massive government spending on unemployed immigrants is a big driver of France’s economic woes. The original protest were made by teachers and students complaining about crowded classrooms – a result of over immigration. Socialist/Marxist agitators piled on encouraging more protests.

Since your post can’t keep the facts straight, is your meme is just propaganda? Or are you just misinformed? The French already have liberty and democracy. They had brotherhood until they were invaded by unassimilating immigrants.

Macron? Who held a card in the Socialist Party for three years between 2006 and 2009? The Socialist Party, a social democratic and class collaborationist party that consistently sides with the capitalist classes and fat cat bosses against the working class? Okay... and?

The most important fact to know about the Renaissance Party is that it's an 'economically liberal' party; in other words, another vessel of the ruling class to crush the working class. Read: hardcore capitalist.

Collapse in education facility quality and education quality in general: a result of the ruling class' pressure on working people, diverting public funding from education and healthcare into tax cuts for the rich elites and increased funding for the military...

Immigration into France... oh look who it is? North Africans, Central Africans, Arabs... guess who colonised their lands, pillaging and robbing as they came? The riches of these countries were taken out and back to the homeland France, hence why all the people are heading there; where there is more opportunity and wealth.

The ruling class in a country with free and open elections??? The ruling class in a country with the individual right to own private property and business???

It also means each individual is responsible for themselves. Learn a skill. Learn a trade. Read a book. Educate yourself. Invest in yourself. Start a business. Don’t spend all your money, but invest in your future.

Ask yourself two questions: what do I want? What will I do to get that?

Start with this book-
Thinking and Grow Rich
By Napoleon Hill

What happens after today is entirely up to you.

Do you not understand what the ruling class refers to? Under capitalism, the ruling class is the capitalist class, defined as: "the social class that privately owns the means of production—such as factories, machinery, land, raw materials, financial institutions, and communication networks—and derives its income primarily from profit, rent, or investment returns rather than wage labor."

It's a clearly observable economic class, found in all societies today.

Go buy some stocks in companies. Then you can be the ruling class. Do you know how few big companies are privately owned? It takes very little money to start buying stocks and bonds. Get busy.

Take Amazon for example: they are a very profitable corporation. In stock market terms, they are publicly traded; but just because 22.8% of Amazon's shares are controlled by people other than institutions like BlackRock or Vanguard doesn't make it not privately owned; it is controlled not by the public, the state, or the workers who work in it, but instead is legally owned by a corporate entity, managed by a Board of Directors and executives who directly answer to a few capital investors.

Also, the argument of 'stop complaining about exploitation, you could just become an exploiter yourself' is genuinely braindead.

A lot of comfortable middle ground exist between Jeff Bezos and Kent Dorfman.

22.8% is not a controlling interest in a company.

Please post something besides misleading propaganda.

Didn't say BlackRock owned the majority, I said investment institutions LIKE BlackRock and Vanguard own a majority.
0 ups, 10h
You also said it’s 22.8%. It’s not even close to 22.8%. It’s not even close to a controlling interest.

DID YOU DO THE MATH YET?

And most of those shares are owned in ETFs. Who benefits from those ETFs??
The individual investors (private citizens like you and me), institutional investors (like insurance companies), and pensions.

Get real. You’ve been misled.

How so? That may be true but you never actually debate my argument to prove it, and you won't, because you're a coward.

Try counting up all the comments in this thread debating you.

I’ll give you a piece of advice. All the pawns of the Russian revolution became pawns of a communist government more impressive than capitalism. The same goes for all the prawns of the revolution that put Chavez in power in Venezuela. Don’t be a pawn.

Definition of economic liberalism: "economic liberalism is a political and economic ideology that supports a market economy based on individualism and private property in the means of production."

That means that you can buy shares in private industry. You can also start your own business. That’s the beauty of it.

Tyler Perry, the entertainment mogul, became a billionaire after starting out living in his car as a young man. He worked hard in what he believed in. What’s your excuse?

No, it means that the wealthiest 10% of the Western population owns ~ 93% of all shares. Saying 'you can just start your own business' is completely irrelevant when discussing the power of firms that monopolise capital in an area, rendering competition by smaller scale private businesses nearly impossible. From 2000 to 2019, the market share of the four largest firms has risen from 26% to 32%, and this is just a small sample period of a longer-term pattern of market monopolisation and capital concentration. Roughly four out of 989 US billionaires made their fortune in the entertainment/theatre industry (one of who is Tyler Perry), so it's just not worth talking about.

The point is - he started with nothing and ended up with more than he started with. That’s the way it works. Not everybody will end up being a Jeff Bezos. Invest a little bit every month in a stock mutual fund. Over lifetime it will become quite a bit.

In prehistoric times if a caveman didn’t hunt or gather, he starved. If he didn’t make a shelter or find a way to protect himself from the elements, he perished.
Life is no different now. Each individual is responsible for their own well-being.

Income stratification hss existed through the entire history of civilization. Get used to it.

It’s all individual choice. “Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.”

Firstly, address the evidence I provided.

Secondly, no one says that you can't 'end up with more than you started with'. Working people have immediate issues and costs that are daily and chew up an enormous percentage of their wages/salaries, it just isn't realistic for the majority of people to chuck their money into a fund and wait their entire lifetime to get 'quite a bit'.

Thirdly, cavemen didn't live in a time of incredible abundance. We do. The only thing that prevents that abundance from being democratic and equitably distributed is capitalism; hence the ever more frequent crises.

Finally, 'income' is not the fundamental issue. Ownership is.

Feel free to move to any communist/Marxist country you want.
Start with Venezuela. You can probably get free housing, healthcare, education, all that stuff. Chavez nationalized all sorts of industries for the little people to have ownership of industry.
Seeing how over a third of the population moved out of the country due to economic hardship, there’s probably plenty of empty homes for you to live in.
Have a good life!
