Nonprofits are just grifts they do nothing but take taxpayer money

I was blind in my right eye in 2023. I went to an eye Dr who arranged a cornea transplant from a surgeon. The surgeon fixed my eye. I can see in it now.
He asked me if I'd heard of the York Rite Lodge? He explained it raised over 90k for eye research in our state.
I explained to him I volunteered at hot dog sale fundraisers to help them raise the money that went to the University where he was trained to do cornea transplants.

Well This is one example (out of the thousands). But good for this dude, now if we can get the others on board.
