Blood is one the best statuses btw .,even if your going melee build you can buff your self to do more damage with certain spells

so hookclaws are good since they are melee weapon? (even if strength scaling is E)

You can change the scaling to better for strength depending of what affinity you give it when putting a ash of war on the weapon.,heavy usually helps with strength scaling if I’m remembering correctly

But yes they are a decent weapon over all

One last thing after you do lim grave go down to the next area instead of left to calied
