no, this would not be ideal. it would pierce through the walls and hit your family, the recoil would be way to high so you'd be just as likely to injure yourself as you are to injure the person in front of you, also, that gun is rusty as hell, so it will likely blow up in your hands when you fire it, basically, its just a hand grenade. also, the ammo will probably aither misfire or explode. in short, no, it is not a good idea, nor is it ideal. stick to shotguns

however, this thing does look really cool, but do you really want to use a weapon the cartels made themselves, the same people who sell drugs and probably sometimes use them theirselves?

yeah I mean like my antivirus wont let me open it, also, if they use it against helicopters though, sure. though I think that for home defense, shotguns are still better. but that ammo looks like its gonna blow up any minute

Even on the off chance it doesn't misfire or explode, look at that barrel length compared to the round itself. That's not going to get you a lot of velocity. At most it'd be comparable to a .308 round, or 8mm Mauser at most.

Absolutely not. I remember Brandon Herrera doing a video on this particular gun, and it's anybody's guess as to whether it would even function, let alone without breaking your shoulder. You see, he speculated that it was an open-bolt design, which would put the bolt alone at like 50-80 pounds, and with that rapidly going back and forth, that would cause an ungodly amount of recoil. On top of that, considering how short that barrel is for .50 BMG, it'd hit with all the force of a roundhouse kick from Lt. Dan.

in short, it is as useful and safe to use in combat as shoving a hand grenade down your own throat with the pin pulled. so no, this gun would not be useful at all, however, considering the fact that most cartel members aren't stupid, they would probably try and fire it semi auto or in bursts like you would with any heavy machine gun
