You have to load it into your personal memes. Here's the trick I learned. Open new tab with right click on create/caption meme button (or middle click, which is faster). Click on Upload Your Own Meme. Have the picture of the meme handy. Add image with "choose file" and check the box that says "Allow image to be displayed in public template directory". Now go back to this page and meme comment and click on the "My Templates" tab. Hope those instructions were clear. =)
