Well that was a creepy story now, wasn't it?
One Redditor at r/Comics compared this story to The Giving Tree, and TBH, it ain't that far off.
You have the crab asking the man for some meat, with the latter (and the butcher) willingly catering to it, similar to how the Giving Tree gives everything it has to the kid in that book. And even after the giver nearly runs out of things to give, the taker still asks for more.
I hope I never have to encounter a lavender crab at any point in my life...
This has been yet another dark graphic story by Adam Ellis, who I hope puts it into a third horror book, should he ever create one at any point in time!
