The Republicans she works with at Fox News are MORE accepting of her than her own side is.
She used to think the left "eating their own" was an exaggeration, "a bit like lore" from social media clips. Then she sat in a room with a thousand progressives at Crooked Con and discovered it's a REAL thing.
Remember these poll numbers from COVID? Rasmussen, January 2022:
• 59% of Democrats supported confining the unvaccinated to their homes.
• 48% supported fines or PRISON for questioning the vaccines online.
• 29% supported taking children away from unvaccinated parents.
Their worldview is simple: if your views differ from mine, you're morally depraved and should be punished.
This is the party of "you can't see my kids until you take a vaccine" and "You voted for Trump, I want nothing to do with you."
Republicans think Democrats are stupid or misinformed. But they would never disown a child or a parent over politics.
That's the difference between disagreement and excommunication."
