EC (Exotic Creator) after being defeated once, took over Data's body to start a war. She was assigned to search his remains for valuable info like base locations and schematics and it didn't exactly go well.

Continuation of what I was talking about

Because of how Astra was programmed her code is nothing like any other robot/ai. She was programmed to learn and adapt constantly, both physically and in her code.

So if you were to look in her head... it doesn't even look like code anymore. If you look really close sure there are 1s and 0s but it moreso resembles a brain than the code of an AI, though it of course doesn't match any known species. You can also occasionally find intact programs but those are just apps and games she's installed like Minecraft and discord.

Side note: if you ever see her using a phone, that's not a real phone. She just shapeshifted that out of her hand because she prefers it over just using certain apps in her head

And if you poke around too much... then her security kicks in. It doesn't just kick you out, it takes chunks out of the operating system of whatever you're using to get in her head until it either shuts down or explodes.

Again, operating less like a computer and more like a biological response. Very hostile.

Do I think this would kill EC? No. He'd probably figure out what's about to happen and leave before it can, or he'd decide he should stop poking around before he finds out the hard way. Either that or he just sits in there dormant until he finds something better to upload into

In summary: it's a pain in the ass to do anything once you get in her head because you can hardly be sure what you're even looking at. And on top of that your computer is gonna be bricked before you can figure it out.

Actual doubt btw, what about other kind of approaches from more digital/tech based characters like Miso, who just gets in with no need of using outside tools or any other devise and OS

Interesting. EC wouldn’t bother hacking into Astra, not just of the coding thing, but rather because Terra and Data are much more accessible, and easier to wipe out its records in them.

EC was sloppy with its hacking of Data.
