God ordered Jehu to kill all the followers of Baal. Same goes for the israelites to kill all other nations associated with worshiping and breeding of revel spirits as part of the ongoing spiritual war. It will be hypocritical if He tells us not to kill but then order us to kill...unless there is a distctiction that requires intentionality.
