Basically some of the outer plating shifts backward to cover the output of the thruster, redirecting it to push in the opposite direction. Some planes use it to slow down
I've seen the terms Clamshell, and Bucket used for it
It's the most visually interesting type of reverse thrust I've seen so I wanted to put it on the model, but it's way more complex than it looks.
