1 minute of searching on DuckDuckGo has led me to believe I *MIGHT* have something akin to trismus. | So for like the past couple days I've had problems with my jaw where:

  1) Opening it would cause pain in the right side specifically.
  2) If I open it wide enough, I'll hear a clicking sound on the same side, and as long as I don't cross a certain "threshold" I won't feel anything there.
  3) If I repeatedly open and close it often, the pain pretty much "numbs" extremely quickly. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

I very recently found out that doing the so-called "three fingers test" consistently triggers the jaw click. A crude diagram of the test has been provided.

Also forgot to mention I didn't have this problem yesterday, but I did the day before yesterday.

Tbh, sounds like TMJ. Not a doctor can't diagnose you but yk

Figured it'd be something like that because the whopping 3 articles I read on trismus mention TMJ.

TMJ is usually just annoying rather than harmful

It's technically considered TMD as J just is the joint but its commonly just said as having TMJ
