People wake up we need much bigger numbers. Looks like we the masses are the Eloi.1,30,000,000 own Android phones etc. and only about 250,000 signatures?
Google claims it's to protect against malware etc. They are FOS of course F-Droid a main source for Open Source Apps doesn't have ads or trackers what do you surmise from that?
I have had Google Apps Play Store Apps that weren't safe after I installed them, and then they were removed. But that's what their claim to open source and is usually probably safer because there is no commercial interest.
